PWA technologies

PWA application (Progressive Web App) is a mobile application based on an existing website. Thus, everything that is on the site is fully transferred to the mobile application. There is no need to make several applications on different platforms, then place them in different app stores.

Why did PMC developers choose PWA technology?

There are at least two factors that contributed to this choice:
  • quick update of new functionality for the entire monitoring system;
  • no need to wait until the owner of the app store checks the assembly for compliance with internal rules for placement. By the time this time passes, several new functions will be implemented in our application;
  • PWA application is platform independent. You can run it even on a TV, even on a refrigerator. And it will work stably and without failures everywhere;
  • At the time of the RF SVO, some mobile applications in the App Store or Google Play are blocked, which causes additional difficulties for end users of mobile applications.
The Waliot PWA application is available on all platforms and on all operating systems, including Russian-made ones, such as Astra Linux.

What about the App Store and Google Play app stores?

Are you used to downloading mobile software from app stores?
